This turns out to be true, again and again. It's not so much the obvious modern scum that's disappointing, more like the hybrids that from a distance don't appear to be the vile, arrogant, insensitive, untrue morons they eventually turn out to be.
Isn't the vaccine just another attempt at how the modern scum tries to improve its own blood from time to time? Can you imagine a method that could exterminate them more effectively on a large scale then their own custom made diseases and the deadly "remedies" that follow?
I think since they are the bad trees, they are the inherently mass exterminating kind, not us.
